Cemtech Americas Meeting 7-10th December 2008

The third Cemtech Americas conference has been successfully concluded in Orlando, Florida in December, this year at the impressive JW Marriott Grande Lakes resort. A full three day event complete with a range of informative speeches and exhibition. And although numbers were a little down this year because of the global economic downturn, which has hit the US cement and construction sectors particularly hard, the mood of the meeting was vibrant, with attendees gaining a greater understanding of all the latest developments in North American cement markets as well as updating on a full range of technical presentations and two dedicated training sessions.

Our special thanks to all the presenters who helped make the meeting a great success and to all our exhibitors whose sponsorship allowed us to once again push the boat out and help provide for some excellent entertainment at the nearby Universal Studios and the rather sumptuous Gala Dinner at the nearby Ritz Carlton hotel – in fact what Cemtech delegates have come to expect from the our conferences over the past 20 years.
